Re: GMP Mustang diorama set

I got mine from aikensairplanes.com. I've always had good experiences with them.

Same here. Good place, quick shipping.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Thumbs up Re: GMP Mustang diorama set

I got mine from Grasco Hobby. He had to order it in for me, but the price was excellent and delivery was not too bad either. Well, I had to have it delivered here in the UK.

It's exceptional and you will not be dissapointed when you get it.

Re: GMP Mustang diorama set

How is the quality on these? Are the components diecast? Plastic? Any pics to share?

Thes are really top notch. The base is some sort of very hard material more like a solid epoxy or something. Very heavy. Detail is sweet.

They are very nice and well made - wood frame, resin base, plastic components for the most part but worth it. The only thing I don't like about my Tuskegee set is that the figures are just the Anglo Americans with a brown wash on the skin. Most folks don't seem to mind but it is too close to blackface which is poor taste in my opinion. I plan to replace the figures on display with some actual African-American figures in the near future. I have already paired my Corgi 1/32 Lee Archer figure with it when I have it on display. A very nice set overall.
