If you were trapped on an island.

If you were trapped on an island and could only have one diecast plane tank etc with you to keep you company what would it be?

Re: If you were trapped on an island.

tank nut,
Hey there.

It might be more accurate to say which diecast would you take with you this week, since we all seem to have different favorites depending on time of day, phase of the moon and how many times Lindsey Lohan has been arrested recently. (Okay, my favorites seem to change that often at least.)

However, if I had to go for one, it would probably be my Apollo Recovery Sikorsky Helicopter diorama. I've had it on display here next to me since I picked it up a few months ago and instantly fell in love with it. (Link to the Tricatus pictures below in case you don't know what I'm talking about.)

Anything for a weird life.

Corgi 1/32 P-51D "Old Crow" (silver version)... I'm pretty sure... Although it's a tough call between that and the GMP P-40 "Texas Longhorn."

Re: If you were trapped on an island.

Well the logical side says take my Minichamps R01 Panther -- it's not my favorite, but it is probably my most valuable (in case I need to barter with a passing ship to rescue me...)

But I'd want to take my GMP Old Crow...

Hey djjeffhall, I can see why you would like to have that with you, that is very neat. I have never seen that one before, thanks for the pics!

Re: If you were trapped on an island.

For me it's the Lancaster. Not that I don't have others..... Catalina, B17, B24, also a stunner in a Bikini would be nice. ( if only I wasn't so decrepit )

Re: If you were trapped on an island.

I'm presuming being trapped on an island without FEMALE company? Otherwise it would be "please stop playing with that toy", " how come you don't dust anything else" etc Seriously though with good female comapny die cast would be the last thing on my mind

To the real question; my custom built 'Finucane' 1/32 Corgi Spitfire (formally PR-F) created by my very gifted cousin as a birthday present a few years ago.

Re: If you were trapped on an island.

That would be like the movie "Castaway" with Tom Hanks.............. He had Wilson to keep him company....
I would have silver "Old Crow" to keep me company...
