Any WWII Gamers in here, who have expanded their model collecting to video gaming?

Company of Heroes has a nice RTS style game with lots of your favorite armor and infanty units. There is also air support.

Well, I was a gamer first, diecast addict second... but yeah, I'm into all sorts of games, especially those WW II-themed.

I just finished COH and it was probably the best RTS I've ever played. The artillery is awesome, and every mission I felt like I was on the brink of disaster before pulling victory from the jaws of defeat. Non-stop action, and absolutely beautiful, too.

I really like the Call of Duty series too (on the PC).

I haven't played company of heroes yet but I've heard good things..I did get the patch set for it.

I fly microsoft combat flight simulator war over Europe. My handle is "Uwilldie". I love flying the Tempest.

I am a big Fan of Aces High, the online combat simulation. I also flew
Air Warrior for several years. I am a member of a virtual online squadron
called the Skyknights. We fly organized bomber missions.

It really sounds kinda geeky, but I really enjoy flying with my friends online. Many of them I have known "online" for more than 6 years!.

On Squadron or Squad nights, get a cold one or two and spend an hour or two flying around blowing up stuff, its a great way to get away from it all.

The PC game Soldiers: Heroes of World War II (not a FPS) is highly recommended as being a fun and challenging game with excellent graphics (far better than Commandos and very realistic - for a game that is).

Only drawback is the difficulty can sometimes be frustrating e.g. getting your three Tiger Is off the road and under cover before the Typhoons 'interface' with them .

(Rome: Total War is also great for those of you who like strategy games set in that particular historical period .)

I play all kinds of pc games, mainly First Person Shooters. Call of Duty 2 is my favorite WWII shooter at the moment. I even play a little of good old Medal of Honor every once in a while. I also play Battlefield 1942 single player even though the AI isn't too swift, but it's fun to mess around with.

Some of my favorite non-WWII games; The Elder Scrolls IV-Oblivion (I'm hooked!!), Far Cry (One of my all time favorites-I never get tired of playing it!), Deus Ex Invisible War, Freedom Fighters.

I know most of these are old games, but they're now classics imo.
