Re: Any Gamers Here?

Days Of Defeat source is a great fps game & alot better than cod .
Wolfenstein enemy territory good & it (FREE) to play ,just download it

I must try DoD, I didn't care for Castle Wolfstein or something like that because I like to fight humans not humans and then monsters and then humans. This is what I didn't care for in Far Cry and Half Life I and II. I just want to fight one or the other, just humans or just monsters. I wish they would come out with Halo II for the PC using XP OS. I hear a rumor that Halo II will be released but you will need Vista OS to play it. DRATS!!!

Re: Any Gamers Here?

A lot of the newer games are being designed to use the new UnReal3 Engine. Gearbox's Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway is using the new UnReal Engine. And EA which is working on Medal of Honor:Airborne has annouced their purchase of a license for the UnReal Engine as well. To get the full graphic impact you'll need Vista and Dual Core. Some game manufacturers are going to have Windows XP and Vista version

I have the dual core but only XP, I wonder if Vista will be worth the money or bother to get it?

Re: Any Gamers Here?

Heard rumors that Vista is worse than ME, sucks up a lot of memory. But everything is getting pushed that way thanks to Microsoft . Lots of gamers are just going to purchase a Play Station 3 it will have Internet browsing capability running Linux, hard drive, play DVD's all the bells and whistles. and you won't have to worry about Microsoft's built in flaws in the programing .

I can't see hardcore gamers going over PS3 & all the stuff with Vista will take years to kick in
All your need to do later on is get a new videocard.
It simple there more window xp users than vista so there make the game to run on both

Re: Any Gamers Here?

Well tonight I played a little WW2 online. I spawned in as a FW190 and headed toward the nearest trouble spot. Shortly after arriving over an enemy town, I notice two enemy aircraft- a british Spit IX and a French H81 (aka p-40). Needless to say, I made quick work of the H81 I hit him with no less than 10 20mm rounds, only to see him flame up! Now for the spit....

Not sure if most of you guys know this or not, most "vitural" spit pilots are deck monkeys. Most of these newbie pilot know only one move-yank and bank (grab the stick and turn). Anyway, once I started climbing, I knew I had him. As I guessed, he remained on the deck, so of course he would die to the boom and zoom. On my first pass he turned before i could acquire a gun solution. For my next pass, he wasn't so lucky. I point my nose where I expected him to turn, then 2 20mm round to the cockpit and he was no more-the plane also disappeared

On my return to the airfield, I was hit by enemy flak-that led to a dirt nap for me

anyway..thought i would share

Yeah I've tried Aces high and similar to WWII online, takes awhile to master. Loads of fun I have to say I'm kinda a Luft nut so I usually only fly german planes. WWII online offers the ME110, 109E, 109F, 190A, HE-111, JU52, Stuka (my favorite) and the ME110C4/b (carries bombs) to fly.
