Why would that not be OK? Will it start a turf war or something?

I don't like reggae. I love it.

Re: Any Gamers Here?

I love gaming! I'm playing two pretty much exclusively right now

RTS - Company of Heroes; Dawn of War
FPS - Battlefield 2

I really like the Battlefield series - even with the gameplay issues. CoH and DoW are very nice as well.

Past favorites include Delta Force (the original) and Double Helix. Sleep deprevation central.

Re: Any Gamers Here?

Mentioning the clan is OK, I think... Infighting and inflammatory rhetoric will of course, not be tolerated.

Re: Any Gamers Here?

It is multiplayer, there is an offline practice mode where the teams are filled with computer controlled bots but that is really only useful to familiarize yourself with the controls.

Most of the maps are infantry based but there are some that are combined arms or all armor. Most tanks have 3 positions: driver, coax mg, and gunner/commander. Doing it all yourself is a bit daunting cause you'll be jumping back and forth between stations. In the SU76 or Stug you pretty much have to team up with somebody. You can communicate via microphone or keyboard commands that tell your driver what you would like them to do. That doesn't mean they won't start moving the tank right as you're about to fire the main gun. I usually stick to the infantry maps as there are servers which are dedicated to one or the other. Let me know if you have more questions cause I would love to see some of you guys out on the battlefield.

Re: Any Gamers Here?

This seems to be a common trait among some of us. The game that started it all for me was Panzer General. Then there was Steel Panthers, Aces Over Europe/Pacific, 1942 Gold, Close Combat, ... ....

Wow, those games rocked!! I was a huge fan of SSI games. My first SSI game was field of fire on the C64.
