Re: RC F-117 model crash!

I only have two R/C aircraft. That is one hobby that is too expensive. I think that the model was repairable, but it would suck.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

I used to fly RC for a few years than i got bored with it and now fly the real planes.
But when i was in R/C i flew the sweet stick in Red Baron colors and of course the P-51D Mustang painted up like Cripes A Mighty. On a sad note Red Baron made it out alive and was sold but the Mustang took a bad nose dive when another pilots hit me head first in the air and that was not a nice sight to see.

Re: RC F-117 model crash!

I would have to say the guy did a pretty good job flying it considering the 1/1model is so aerodynamically unstable that it can't be flown without computer input..

True, but the graphic art on the original Skunkwrx version makes up for any instability ... .

Re: RC F-117 model crash!

That B-29 video is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. The thing must be built like a tank to do some of those maneuvers without falling apart. And that guy can fly that bird! Plus the X-1 with the rocket is outasite.
