Re: Who would like this F1 Mirage in 1/72

The F1 is a great looking aircraft and would make a great addition to diecast. Not sure if it was Turkey or Saudi that I was deployed at that there were also some F1s deployed there.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Thumbs up Re: Who would like this F1 Mirage in 1/72

I'd take quite a few Mirage F1s. My favourite is the SAAF low viz F1AZ with camo only on the top side with the rest dark grey, stunning. My favourite French scheme is the desert scheme. I've post pics in another thread, check it out.

The SAAF no longer operate the Mirage F1CZ, they used their engines in the Cheetahs. That's why you only see F1AZs in my pics. The F1CZs had typical low vis grey schemes. I'm sure when the F1 gets done there will be a SAAF scheme. Hopefully more than one variant will be produced.

Re: Who would like this F1 Mirage in 1/72

Yes Zs-Van cool pictures of a succesful aircraft that was exported to many countries. I think the mirage F1 would be a great piece to add to our collection. My favorite though is the grey and green camo.

I would buy at least 4 F1s : A F1CT or CR in European camo, a F1C in Air Defence Blue, a F1C or CR in desert camo, and a SAAF F1AZ or CZ.
