Who has listed their collection on the Wings900.com database

Has anyone had any luck adding planes to the Wings900.com database? Do you have to fill out every field, can you use copy righted pictures?

The Wings900.com web site only has 3 planes listed for both Witty Wings & Eagles International. The data base is completely missing sections for Model Power Postage planes, Corgi Showcase, & Armour 1:100.

I've got my collection stored there.
I've never tried to add models to the database but as far as copywrited pics go, I've noticed that Tri's pics are used quite often.
Their GMP database is nil too.

I tried but it seemed like a lot of work to put the collection up. (photos and all)

Keep'em flying.

Re: Who has listed their collection on the Wings900.com database

The pictures used in both the Wings 900 and DA.C data bases are maintained by the websites' administrators, whom in the past have diligently tried to gain permission for photos used on their site before allowing them.

All the fields in the database are also maintained/added/updated by the sites administrators - the only required data needed by the end user to add a model to their collection is to select an aircraft model already present in the database, include the date purchased and price paid and any optional comments you may wish to include. Once you've completed those steps, you're on your way!

Right now, both W900 and DA.C databases are lacking heavily in 1/72, 1/48 and larger military scale models, but there has been talk on their forums recently of an initiative to include more models soon. Lets hope so!

Re: Who has listed their collection on the Wings900.com database

Users can submit planes for the administrators to approve.

I have been planning to add planes from a least Witty, Armour 1:100, & Model power (Postage Stamp). I wanted to see if my first submission was approved before I spent 3 or 4 hours submitting planes, however my first submission has yet to be added.
