Re: BNBB: Blue-Nosed Bastards of Bodney

Dux and Starman,

I e-mailed Mr. Powell to express my interest in the books and got no reply. I understand that he is probably extremely busy...Do you know of any way to procure a reservation for future books other than contacting him?

The book is now available for ordering (actually, I think it has been for some time) at this website, and you can order with a 20% pre-order discount until the release next week.

Yes you are correct by there are only 1500 of these books i believe and if you want them you better hurry up because they will sell some at the 352nd reunion at Airport Marriott Hotel or at the Rickenbacker Field on Sunday.

I'm attending the airshow at Rickenbacker. Any idea if I can purchase the book now and pick up at the show in case I have an opportunity to get autographs?

From what I read on the site, I don't think so. Appears the book will not be available till 9/25. I'm torn...do I order it to make sure I get it, and get a $11 discount, or hope I can get it at the airshow, and hopefully get it autographed? I think I'm inclined to do the latter. An extra $11 is well worth it if I can get it autographed!

Cap, order the book and have it sent to me. After I read it, I'll autograph it for 5 dollars and send it on to ya.

Skunky, I think what you REALLY meant to say is that I should buy it at the airshow, have the available pilots sign it, and THEN send it too you!

My response, in a nutshell, is...............NO! (but a good try, my friend!)
