Re: So I am buying an AT-6.......

Way to go, Mustangdriver. A Texan for the cost of scap? That's not crazy, thats a great bargain (assuming it's in any kind of shape at all, which I'm sure it is.) Looking forward to the pictures, and, in the future, pics and updates on it's restoration!

Re: So I am buying an AT-6.......

I would love to give you guys rides. As a matter in fact, once we get it in the air, I will post where I will be with it. If you guys come up and introduce yourselves, a ride would not be a problem. Once again, it is going to be a little while. I am working on getting some pics posted.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Once your start your project with the AT-6 slowly it's will cut into your diecast funds Limit yourself to one diecast a month.

Watch out for the wife's favorite words"You spend more money on your plane then you do to me"
Have fun with the AT-6..Lots of work and a whole lot of labor of love.
Rides...You say rides....Heck i'll fly along the side of ya.

Not too bad. Thanks again for posting my pics. I am not sure why they wouldn't post.

Re: So I am buying an AT-6.......

I'm still beating my head how cheap you got that plane for.
That has got to be the deal of the century.
Does it have all the items in the cockpit ?

Re: So I am buying an AT-6.......

THe cockpit is complete. There is some corrosion in the tail, not a lot, but enough to need some care. The wing spar A.D. has not been done. The engine will need sent out, as well as the prop. But at least it is all there.
