| Motorworks models Hi Guys, It wasn't so long ago one could go into Walmart and go crazy on Motorworks models. I was able to pick up the UH-1D two types of F-18 as well as TomCat and AH-64 Apache plus the Super Cobra. Now I'm not finding them. I liked them because they look decent cast stand and reasonable detail for the price. At the time they also had kits of the same models I did remove the pilot figures for painting but just wanted to know if they offered any others I probably missed? Alph | |||||||||||||

| Re: Motorworks models That Explains a lot! I haven't focused on Toyzone at Walmart Will have to go take a look. I think this model could do with some decals and weathering, but at the time I hadn't thought much of Naval Aviation. Was into airline display models by Wooster. Don't even see Wooster much anymore. | Re: Motorworks models These were originally found at Toys R Us back in the day and that's where I got my F-14, AV8 Harrier and F-18. They make perfect desktop display models at my office desk. These models are quite compatible with the more expensive mahogany stuff but they're diecast made. I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes these models. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Motorworks models Hi Xwire, "Yep" I do like these too! I found mine at Walmart for 15 each at the time. I'm searching to see if there were others I may have missed.I believe a majority of these models actually did make it into the sand boxes. So these gotta be really rare at this point. I also remember there was a P-51 and a P-38 made by Toy Zone - marketed as Air Power Series. I've seen those and they look ok too. | ||||||||||||||
