Re: 1/18th scale aircraft

I have to say that I was never huge into the 1/18th scale stuff. I always thought that there were toy like. Then last night my BBI F4U Corsair Marine's Dream arrived. It has totally changed my view on that. IT is one of the coolest models I have seen. THe detail work is amazing. Is it me, or is this one awsome model?

Hi Mustang,
After awhile you'll become "quite" creative with ways to display these larger aircraft. I lost out on some good models because I did to think these were too Toyish. I remember seeing the FA-18 BlueAngel but I over looked it for a Motorworks Super Cobra Now I just have to wait until someone doesn't like theirs any more. As Starman "says" This is a great time to collect 1:18th scale. I'd add the Corsair is an impressive model to look at mine came with wing stays to keep them from floppin around. The more kids that get these models the better our values increase....

No its not just you mustang. Marines Dream IS an awsome model and one of BBI's best. That is until the F6F comes out.

Re: 1/18th scale aircraft

MD, I've got about 40 1/18th scale aircraft and I've got to say the Marine's Dream is the best WWII plane along with the BBi Green Zero. I also like the F-104 for modern planes, especially the original silver (until the Phantom & Skyraider are released). You won't be disappointed with the Marine's Dream.

We are all waiting on the Phantom...Both 21st and Admiral said at the end of the year...
Once these get listed as pre-orders they are going to sell like hotcakes.
Along with that B-25.... 21st is going to make too.

George Preddy was......Just the greatest fighter pilot who ever squinted through a gunsight.
He was a complete fighter pilot.......Colonel John C. Meyer Deputy Commander of the 352nd.
