Re: What if you could keep one model only?

Ohhh...tough call....so close, so I'm gonna cheat on this one, sorry Shamrock!!!
My first instinct is to go with my favorite plane, the P-51......so I'd have to go with GMP's P-51D Cripes A'Mighty....untill I get the GMP Big Beautiful Doll version ...
However, because of seeing them everyday and being from where I live, the Franklin Mint A-10 PA ANG 'Lets Roll' would probably be the one I would have to chose.
Great thread though!

Tough one. Either my Corgi 1/32 "Old Crow P-51", signed by Bud Anderson or my Franklin Mint "Showtime 100" F-4 signed by Willy Drischoll.

Re: What if you could keep one model only?

If we're referring to aircraft models it will be a toss up between the following :
  • 1/48 Carousel 1 FW190D11 'Red 4'
  • 1/32 Corgi 'Battle Scarred' Spitfire
  • 1/35 GMP Cripes A' Mighty 3rd P51D Mustang

One sheep to rule them all ...

Re: What if you could keep one model only?

I don't have it yet, but it would be the Gemini/Flying Tigers P-51B Princess Elizabeth. After my Grandfather past away I found out he was a member of the the AAM at Duxford. So that plane would be a nice reminder of him and his support of the Museum.
