F-101 Voodoo

Browsing through various diecast aircraft forums, I have noticed quite a few people express interest in a diecast F-101. I, for one, would love to see a good model of the Voodoo. Here's my question- if you are interested in an F-101 model, would you prefer the single seat or the two seat variant? Also, for those going with the single seater- would you like to see the early fighter versions in addition to the recce versions, or just the recce versions?

Re: F-101 Voodoo

I don't think it to be a particularly attractive bird. However, I'd love to see the Voodoo in diecast.

Sugested viewing angle for this awkward aircraft:

Re: F-101 Voodoo

The McDonnel Douglas F-101 Voodoo lineage included several versions: low-altitude fighter-bomber, photo reconnaissance, two-seat interceptor and transition trainer.
Specifically, I would buy a Canadian CF-101A/C Voodoo for it's colorful schemes, and a USAF RF-101C Voodoo especially the ones who served in the Vietnam War.

Re: F-101 Voodoo

I gotta admit I like the RF-101C but the F-101B was used by more folks, USA, Canada,Replublic of China and I think Greece.

I wish Franklin Mint would make one in 1:48 scale.

Greece used to operate the F102, not the F101 my friend.

That said, I would be particularly keen on a RCAF CF101B.
