| Re: C-47? I bought an ERTL C-47, guess it's 1:72 (fuselage 10.5", wingspan 15.5"), representing the AC-47 "Puff the Magic Dragon" from Vietnam. It was neat (and comforting) to see Puff in action - she could really lay down a lot of fire. They also have "Spooky", who was the flare ship (FC-47). At night, Puff looked like an invisible giant peeing red (the tracers), and the Vulcan sounded like tearing canvas. The model's green and tan camouflage, retractable main mounts, stand for in-flight, and rear hatch opens. Not bad looking at all. | |||||||||||||
