Think about it, you could do different nations that used it during WWII, Berlin Airlift, Korea, AC-47's of Vietnam, Air America used some C-47's, and then all of the airlines that used the DC-3.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

There's a gazillion they cold make. In fact they could make them until everyone starts saying "Oh no....another C-47/DC-3"

I'm waiting

Re: C-47?

Well the C-47/DC-3 is strange that no one has made one yet, you have hundreds of diferent schemes that it can be painted in. Both civi and military. I want a goony bird, Corgi must get their ass inn motion!!!

A Corgi would be ok, but how about HM? And I agree with Starman, a D-Day version would be great!

Something along these lines you mean? This is a pic of my ERTL C-47 in 1:72 scale. i think you can still pick these up on e-Bay. Panel lines are a bit severe, but it's better than nothing .

Re: C-47?

I would like to see someone else, other than Corgi, making some of the 'heavier' WWII aircraft in 1/72 scale. I would hope that HM start the trend or even Dragon (if there are not too many 'fiddly bits').

One sheep to rule them all ...

I'm with you there (except for the 'fiddly bits' part ). I wish Hobby Master and Dragon would get into the multi-engine market. I would be as pleased as.....punch
