I am very happy to see the circumspection most of our posts are showing towards this issue. As Celtic has pointed out above, we all I am sure have had issues with purchases but I'd venture to guess that the LARGE majority are settled w/ a minimum of fuss and bad feelings.
I must say though this sort of thing makes me very wary of selling via mail. I have a number of Franklin/Armor 48th aircraft I am going to post later this weekend for sale or trade and am dreading dealing w/ parties who are not in my area to see them "in person".
What really worries me is that some minor issue that I did not perceive would be a huge deal breaker for certain collectors and result in a time consuming and tedious shipping merry go round. It just makes me think "Is it worth the trouble".
