Re: Question about Vendor Service ??

My suggestion would be to post it to me or Gavin 1st, especially since we are only getting one side of the story, and let us review it before posting it to the forum..

Re: Question about Vendor Service ??

Hi flaps, sorry to hear your problem. But before you post any negative things on any forum, I would recommend that you call the company. I have had issues with a few before, never gotten an answer that i e-mailed them. But as soon as i called them it was dealtwith.

If this does not help, send a PM to a moderator on the forum and ask premission to post it.

Re: Question about Vendor Service ??

....The important thing here is to leave emotion out of the message - just the facts Friday....

I agree with the above and contact Hworth18 first.

This has happened before and there's no reason not to post as long as you explain it properly. Sometimes other forum members have similar problems and will offer good advice.

Re: Question about Vendor Service ??

I am with you boy's I married in 1993 divorced 1997. A "training marriage" I call it. I stayed single until 2001. I met a fantastic woman from Russia the 2nd time around(no not on the internet or a dating service). Completely different than any woman before. Divorce taught me alot. Please don't ever give up hope for companionship. It keeps you healthy and sane to a point. You can still have all your hobbies if you shop right. I speak only from personal experience but you and I are only a year apart so please hang in there and we will all go through this chain of intersting experiences called life together. I knew I would marry again but I also knew certain parts of my life would be over so I partied, dated younger women, travelled, and enjoyed having my own space and my own mess and my own agenda. I am now expecting our first baby a boy named Mason. I never truly thought I would find happiness or love again. Man was I wrong. Here's wishing you all the best. Happy collecting my brother!

Re: Question about Vendor Service ??

I have found too that a phone call is the best way to fix a problem. Many dealers are bad about handling things by email for a number of reasons.

Ok rookies.............my wife and I got married in 1968 Still going strong! We're covered with scars be we're still together.....and wouldn't have it any other way. Several things have kept us together. One is, we are best friends. We share everything together, and we take part and have an interest in each others hobbies. And of course we have a deep seated love. If there is such a thing....we are true soul mates.

Re: Question about Vendor Service ??

I've been married since 1988 and I'm pleased to say my wife doesn't get to upset when I buy more models, and she has never threatened them with physical harm

She doesn't collect anything herself but I do buy her the occassional cuddly character, soft toys as in bears etc to add to the display in our bedroom. So far she has nine including, Wicket the Ewok, Mr Bean's 'Bear' and a nice Steif Panda that I bought for $2 at a garage sale. Yes I'm cheap, but it's the thought that counts

Re: Question about Vendor Service ??

I am happy for you. I have had a few oddball dates, but they did not go well. Remember I am living in Vegas, I love Vegas do not get me wrong, I could go on for days about Vegas. Women here are as nuts as they get. You got the massive baggage women, the working women, the already married but willing to cheat women, which I will not do, I would not want it done to me and I will not do it to another man.

So far thats all I have found, but as I said I fill my time with Aviation in many ways and I am also a Sci Fi fan, just went to the Big 40th Star Trek Convention and had a ball, makes you forget about being lonely sometimes, also got my two dogs and in the fall and spring we head up to Red Rock and Spring Mountain for hikes and just hanging out with a good aviation mag, I also try an go to as many shows as I can if they are within 4 hours drive. Been to the Chino Show just a few months ago and it was amazing, also the the Big Air Force show here in town.

Flaps

Hi Flaps - I can sympathise with you, my marriage fell about horribly just after I turned 40. But don't write off women altogether - believe it or not, there are some good ones out there. I can promise you that - I met one - and she's absolutely the best thing that ever happened to me.

And it was her that introduced me to collecting diecast .
