Re: Taking A Ride In A P-51!!!!

Yea it was a rush . I was thinking I can not believe I am flying in a P-51 . We did some barrel rolls , dives, some hardturns, straight rolls.I was laughing and yelling like a kids on a roller coaster when he would do acrobatic maneuver.
Landing was a trip when we had to do a 4g right turn to slow the plane before landing. We flew for lil over a hour.Best hour ever. I even got a t-shirt and poster of his plane. Also Dave said he will be at the Gathering of Eagles in Sept. He said there is over 100 that have commited to going.Anyone kow if that is right?

Re: Taking A Ride In A P-51!!!!

I think that if you own a P-51, you'll be trying to make it to that. It's going to one of the biggest events in air show history I think....at least that's what it's billing up to be.....
