The Huntington Ghost

I saw this posted on the web. Satellite photography of Huntington, England on Google Maps shows an Avro Lancaster in flight. They're calling it the Huntington Ghost. I don't know about all that ghost stuff, but I thought that it was pretty cool.

Re: The Huntington Ghost

I suspect that Lanc is pretty high up. Here's the shadow I found:

Re: The Huntington Ghost

I checked the path the Lancaster was flying and found a airport there with alot of cars on the end of the runway.
It also looks like a bunch of old hangars left there from the WWII days.
That is a one big airbase there it looks to be no longer in use by the military.
Closed down airbase ??

Re: The Huntington Ghost

Ghost or no ghost....but that's gotta be creepy! The Flying Dutchman of Huntington perhaps?
