He Shoots He SCORES

Just picked up a wicked deal off the bay(sorry again Black 6 ) Managed to get the 1/32 35504 Sea Hurricane delivered to my house for under $50.00 . Oh did I mention that is Canadian funds . Can't wait for this one to arrive. Probably going to go under the tree though

Ok, so you haven't actually received it yet...Oh.

Just kidding, someone had to sow the seeds of doubt.

Even if you don't open it up B.4 Xmas (sportsman's bet, say's you take a
crafty peek !!!)........Let us all know what you reckon on the nose-cowl area/fit/appearance (out of the box, obviously), as it's caused a LOT of conflicting opinions on the U.K. die-cast forum ???

I love the colour scheme, having seen the real one 7*L built up over preceeding years (at Duxford) - It's just that nose that's making ME hesitate on accquisition

Re: He Shoots He SCORES

Stepped out the door to go to work this morning and what do I see siting on the porch but a nice big box . Place it in the house for when I get home, open it and low and behold its the Hurricane. It was suppose to go under the tree from the misses, (you know I got a gift you can give me type one)told her and she said just open the d*m thing . What a beautiful model, love the colouring of the camo. There seems to be a slight miss alignment of the cowl to the spinner, but I think I only really noticed it because of mister Hornchurch's comments. Other than that its a great model highly recommended if you can find one at a reasonable price. Now I just need a 1/32 Spit. and I'll have one of each type that Corgi has made. Probably going to have to dent the Card a bit for one of those, everything else I got at a good price(under $80.00 and that was for the Mossie.)The hunt continues.

Hi Mo,

Sorry about delayed response - P.C. crashed just over a week ago (death-screen, et al) - wife's resurrected the 'do-everything-bar-make-tea' again, with a new Anti-virus set-up.

Link is simple..... go to Tricatus (excellent) site....main page...... & 'Diecast Aviation Forum' is clearly marked (white bar & sad Spitfire icon) under latest 'plane' photo.

Be warned - U.K. forum is slower than a sleeping Hare (& a dead tortoise, come to that !) although it is informative......Happy browsing Mo.
