| "Dogfights" - Cactus Air Force Just finished watching this episode. I think it was my favorite - so far - of the series - 1) Listening to DeBlanc tell his story - just drawn in to his reflections. (Swett as well). 2) The number of planes "profiled" - Wildcat; Zero; Dauntless; Oscar; Val; Japanese float plane (?) - did I miss any? 3) the digital graphics/retelling of Swett's mission - chasing the 3 Vals through the cloud "tunnel"; flying through the flak; etc., etc. Great episode - I tape them, but this may be an episode I look for on a DVD. (Hope I'm posting this in the right area - I don't see a general aircraft related topic area since the update.) | |||||||||||||
