Re: Hobby Master wants your comments

Hey Hawk , It looks like you opened ( P-61 ) a candy store to kids with all the responses. I also have (P -61 ) to agree fileasfog and admin. With the eye for detail that ( P-61) Hobby Master puts out almost any plane I think would be a hit, and if its a first run ( P-61 ) probably a sell out and the idea of ground crew/pilots ( P-61 ) and airfield vehicles and equipment anything that can enhance my displays is always welcome. As for civilian planes / cars my brother ( P-61 )collects those and he is always ( P-61 ) looking for a new manufactuer.

Re: Hobby Master wants your comments

Hi, Hawk,

In answer to the three questions:

1. 1:72 bombers, I do not do 1:144.

2 and 3: not interested at all!

I don't know why but after reading this post I can't seem to get P-61 out of my head, now if I could just figure out why.

Re: Hobby Master wants your comments

In the 1:72 scale there are many of the bombers already available, but the primary bomber of the Japanese used during WWII, is missing. I have the primary bombers of The US, Germany, and the UK, but there is no "BETTY". The only model of the "Betty" I have seen is the Model Power Postage Stamp. A C-47 would also be nice in this scale as the 1:48 scale offered by Armour is an excellent A/C it does take up a lot of space in a display case. I think the B-29 should also be included in this scale as well, the 1:144 produced by CORGI is just to small to be exciting for the true Collector. When we get to the Cold War A/C there should definitely be a B-58 Hustler in the 1:72.scale. If you produce a 1:144 scale there should definitely be a B-47, B-36, and the Russian "BEAR". These were the mainstay and most formidable of the A/C for their time!

Re: Hobby Master wants your comments

Yes, 1/72 scale for the Betty bomber and how about a Val or a Zero floatplane for Japanese? For Germany, would love to see a FW-189 Uhl which was a widely used observation plane which was quite good on all fronts as well as the Henshel HS-126, also have to have either the Dornier Do-17Z or the Do-217. Nobody has done the famous ME-410 (or 210) either as well as the Henikel HE-177. Also would like a German floatplane like the Arado AR-196. These all would be a hit for sure! Have seen enough P-51's, P-47's and Spitfires for a lifetime, which I have way too many of now....

1/72nd bombers and post-war fighters F89,F84, the Grummans ,
What about a line of aircraft with standard camo patterns applied, that the collector could apply their own markings to.
Oh, and one of these

ditto that b-29 request -- love to see this in 1:72, knowing it would be pricey... and the betty, too --- Gbeck, Marushin made one in 1:48, though tracking one down is very hard (and will cost ya $300 probably)
