Re: What is your MAIN WWII interest?

I love P-40s and P-51s for my aircraft, but I also love Axis armor. I read a lot on Germany vs. Soviet armor battles on the eastern front to compliment and increase my desire in my expanding collection of 1/72 Dragon Armor. I've bought 26 pieces in one month!

I am trying to limit my collection to the following.
The Battle of Britain.

Planes based around or near Cambridgeshire ie: Duxford,Fowlmere,Bassingbourne,Mildenhall.

The invasion of Europe.

Famous Raids ie: Dam Busters, Attack on the Bismark

Good luck with THAT!

mmmmmm it sounded OK when the Avation Archive first got under way..... never imagining Corgi would be so prolific.

Re: What is your MAIN WWII interest?

I think that is a cool goal. I just buy everything and sort it out later. I sometimes end up asking myself "Why did I get this again?"

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
