Re: What is your MAIN WWII interest?

I collect all Allied planes. 99% of them are American unless there is a British scheme that I really like such as the swordfish.

Re: What is your MAIN WWII interest?

I collect mainly Axis stuff, but now, more and more allied planes are making there way to my collection.

My collection started due to my interest in history.

How do you want me to answer ?

I like all the stuff too, but answer it as though you could collect ONE, AND ONLY ONE area of interest

This is like asking to choose between Mum and Dad !

Re: What is your MAIN WWII interest?

Just for looks alone - Axis stuff. But I prefer Allied more because to me it's all about winning the air campaign whether it be in ETO/MTO and PTO....and winning IS everything!

Re: What is your MAIN WWII interest?

Eastern Front. But due to the absence of any QULAITY-MADE VVS aircraft as well as those of Germany allies, this hobby gets rapidly boring to me.

Sergey

I'm w/you on this one. At least Corgi has a few 2007 Eastern schemes listed.

I could tell you right away that the Soviet Spitfire will end up in Tuesday Morning bins even if Corgi will make a sub-1000 run. The same goes for RAF Hurricane that fought alongside Soviet Northern Fleet naval aviators.

Then Corgi will say sorry, but the "Russian" stuff doesn't sell.

Sergey

Re: What is your MAIN WWII interest?

I voted for the Allies, but only so I could see how the voting was going. I really like both Allied and Axis equally. though, if I bothered to count, Ill bet I have more Allied planes.

The neutral countries do not interest me much at all.
