I had that exact same model...My dad received it as a gift from LTV sometime around 1970 and promptly gave it to me..I hate to say this but I remember re-painting the nose white to more closely resemble the F-8s that were attached to NAS Dallas (where I was living at the time), then it suffered a few cross-country move injuries and I finally ended up giving it to my nephew..It still exists in his basement, but it looks like something that's been sitting at AMARC for 30 years...I hate myself for that almost as much as I do for selling my 1970 Dodge Charger R/T back in 1990...

BTW, Fly, I think it's resin and somewhere around 1/48th scale.
