Exclamation Dogfights on the History Channel

Hey gents, I just saw an ad on the History Channel for a show about dogfights with computer generated aircraft, interviews with pilots, etc. It'll air Fridays at 10/9 central.

Cheers!

Re: Dogfights on the History Channel

Check your local listings - the show should be on Friday.

History Channel will rebroadcast the original show (2hrs) twice during the day on November 3rd, followed by the series (30min) in the evening. Having seen the pilot (ha ha), I am anticipating a really good series!

Re: Dogfights on the History Channel

Will this be a new a 'series' (read: new air battles w/other famous ACES)...or just a rerun of the original program???

Re: Dogfights on the History Channel

I saw the Spitfire vs 109. Very interesting. Can't get my mind around the accuracy of a computer generated contest.

A while ago I on BBC Top Gear (don't know if its still called that cos the layouts' changed) saw one of the presenters challenge one of the computer gamers on the same track he'd driven a Golf GTI on. Chalk and cheese. Computer hotdog was all over the place on the track although he beat the real driver on the game.

Re: Dogfights on the History Channel

"Dogfights!" is now a series. They will be rebroadcasting the original 2-hour special 2 or 3 times on 3 November. The premiere of the series (1 hr) takes place later in the evening, and it will be rebroadcast many times throughout the day on 4 November.

A new episode will air each Friday. Hope this helps! I'm really looking forward to it.

LOL! Check your local listings, as it may make your love life a lot better if you can catch one of the rebroadcasts on Saturday morning...

Re: Dogfights on the History Channel

Hell yeah, I saw the first one with bud Anderson, and it was a great show.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
