I really like skydriver’s idea about forming a club up in Atlanta. I think we should start one here in the Orlando, Florida area also! Louie is here as well as Gerry, who owns Big Gun Collectibles here also. We could maybe meet at his shop. Right across the street from his shop is a great German Resturant . Good food with tasty brewskis. Would be great to all go to Fantasy of Flight or over to the Warbirds Museum too sometime. Anyone game???

I'm all over that one Mike. There are actually about 7 or 8 of us around this area that could meet and talk models among many other things. I like the idea of swaps etc.

Great Louie! I thought that there were a few of us here in the local area. How do we set this up? Any suggustions my good man?

I would suggest meeting mid-day on a weekend. I met with phantomphan and Theodore (real name is Brian)( a Florida forum member) couple sundays ago at the shop and then for lunch and beer at the German joint. It was cool and of course had to bring a model home. Let's get together in a couple of weeks in the mean time we will try to get our calendars right.

Sorry Im late to the party guys LOL.

Im 100% in support of a Olando or Fl club & would be more than willing to use my shops space a a meeting point for events or club meets.
Since I moved my space up into the loft I now have the extra space to do such things.

Im trying to bring all the Fl collectors I can into one room to talk about this & shoot ideas back & forth so I set up a thread on the Florida board as a central meeting place to discuss the matter.

Since people on other forums have expressed interest in this topic & Im going to ask the same question on other boards I figured it might be better to all meet in one space online rathter than jump from 3-4 different forums & try to keep up with things.
