Re: User names

No change, figured it would help me to find those from MH I when looking on other sites. Still good to be back among the gang.

Thanks, I'm confused enough as it is.

Re: User names

Same name but new avatar.

For me, same name, but no avatar, as there are not any to choose on this site, and I have no idea as to how to load one (and if anyone explains how to do so, thanks, but I will probably will still have ALMOST no idea!)

Go into your picture folder and find a picture you want to use. Resize it to 19.5kb or less. Upload from your computer and presto-chango a custom avatar

I didn't think I could do it....being brain dead and all, but I did

Re: User names - What do they mean?

I'm back with same call sign. I figure it helps with consistancy. When went on to the UK site I recognised many familiar names.

One the subject of user names, I'm often intrigued by the names and wonder what they mean or why they were chosen.

In fact I was thinking of starting another thread when I stumbled this one!

Mine is based on the South African civilian aircraft registration ZA, VAN is in reference to my surname. In fact my friends most often refer to me as Van as opposed to using my first name.

Looking forward to hearing from you all!
