Tuesday Morning

I've recently started collecting 1/72 scale aircraft and have found three planes in a Tuesday Morning store. Their prices on Corgi are great! Does anyone know how often they tend to get new shipments of these planes? Thanks.

oh-oh... here we go again! (mass stampede to TM's everywhere....)

What planes have you found, Ace? And do a search here in the fourm using Tuseday Morning and you should find lots of threads.... there's been a few major corgi dumps at TM outlets nationwide over the past 2 years or so... there is no rhyme or reason to what they get, and how often, unfortunately....

Re: Tuesday Morning

DirtyAce,
Keep an eye on new threads. Whenever Tuesday Morning makes some noise, folks on the forum get the date and start passing along list of what is found in what area. The Tuesday Morning deals are great, but few and (fairly) far between.

Re: Tuesday Morning

I stopped at one of my local TM's on the way home, all I found was a couple of Sabre's that were still, as far as I know, left over from the previous sale.

Re: Tuesday Morning

Thanks for your help guys. The planes I've found in my local TMs are:

US34308 Focke-Wulf 190A-4 Lt. Walter Nowotny, Staffelkapitan of 1.JG 54, Krasnogvardeisk, USSR, February 1943
AA32510 Junkers Ju-87B-2 Stuka T6+BM, 4./StG2 Immelmann, Tmimi, Cyrenaica, 1941
AA32105 Messerschmitt Bf109E-7/Trop Black Chevron, Oberleutnant Ludwig Franzisket, Gruppen-Adjutant, I./JG 27, Ain El Gazala, Libya, 1941

They were each for $9.99, which is a great price compared to some other places I've seen. I'm only now starting to collect 1/72 WWII planes. I also found a
AA34805Vickers Wellington Mk.VIII HX379/WN-A, No. 172 Squadron, RAF Coastal Command, Late 1942 on Ebay recently for $45.00, I think it's a good price.

You found those at your local TMs recently??? I never saw those! Sounds like a new (well okay OLD) batch of Corgis not around from the last round of liquidation...at least from
what I gather of your report.

Re: Tuesday Morning

Thanks guys. I think the FW190 is kind of a rare model, which I was also surprised to find. When I got to the store it was the only Corgi left, and since TM's toy department is usually messy, I had to dig a bit under some boxes but it was well worth the effort. The Stuka and the Me109 I found together at another store. Altogether I've visited 4 TMs in my area which is Portland, Oregon. Yesterday I checked on one of the stores that I've gone to about three weeks ago and found a couple more Corgis:

US33816 P-47D Thunderbolt 'Miss Plainfied'. lt. Spiros 'Steve' Pisanos, 334th Fs/4th FG, Debden, 1943
AA35208 P-40E Warhawk White 7, 41-1456, USAF, 23rd FG, Col. Robert L Scott, Burma 1942

Like I've said before, I've only now started collecting WWII planes and am happy to find any low priced Corgis, but I think some luck has also been on my side judging by what I've found.

If any of you live in Portland, check your TMs.
