How to Post a Pic -- a neat trick!!!

OK, let’s say you’re frustrated ‘cause you can’t post a pic on Model Hangar II. Correction: you can post the pic, but it won’t appear like it did on the old Model Hangar. All you get is a link.

Wanna know how to get around that and win a free trip to Disney World?

Here’s how ...

1) Download “photobucket.” http://photobucket.com

2) once you’ve registered and signed in (it’s easy), go to the “Image” box (right side of page). Click on “browse.”

3) find the image you wish to upload (wherever that is on your computer)

4) click on “Submit”

5) your pic now appears at the bottom of photobucket’s page

6) swipe the “Img” URL (third box below the picture), then press your keyboard “control” and “C” keys simultaneously. (This copies the URL and puts it on your clipboard.)

7) Now, go to The Model Hangar II, go to a thread, and click on “Quote” or “Post Reply.” The white post box appears.

8) Write whatever you’re going to write, and then, where you want to post the photograph, do the following ...

Click on the “Insert Image” icon just above the post box (the one that looks like two mountains with a yellow sky and a postage stamp affixed in the upper right-hand corner). When that comes up, push your keyboard “control” and“V” keys simultaneously. (This pastes the Image URL you copied from photobucket.) Click “OK”

9) At this point, simply click on “Submit Reply” if you’re finished, or – and this is the fun part – you can continue to write below the image URL you just pasted. When finished, click “Submit Reply.”

10) Voila! You’ve now got a picture and a caption. Cool, huh?

Oh, yea ... and about that Disney World vacation? I was just kidding!!!
