Contriversial now or not, I still want it.

I believe that Corgi had this one planned and scrubbed it for a QF-4. Silly silly kids.

Pardon my ignorance but what is the controversy? Is that Cunningham's mount? If so, recent indiscretions should not tarnish ones service to their country.

Yes, I would still like to see that too -- I believe FM has it in 1:48

I've got that one, but I'd really like to see one that's better detailed.

I think it's time for someone to make an updated Phantom mold and do this one.

Hobby Master, you listening?

Hell yeah, the man is the real "Maverick". All joking aside, I don't think that his recent actions should have anything to do with his flying career. I also think that Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame, so maybe I am just nuts.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

I agree on both counts. Everyone wants to knock down the other guy. Apparently there is a serious lack of character and self-esteem in this world and we all seem to want to compensate by diminishing the good in others and highlighting the bad. I don't deny they behaved poorly in many situations but if you will write them off for the bad at least give credit for the positive. Sad, sad, sad.

I agree completely chiefs70. He was a hero. We should give him credit where credit is due.

Re: Contriversial now or not, I still want it.

On the old Hangar I posted a poll on this very issue/model in a 1:72 Corgi version - with a couple variables regarding "politics" and service issues regarding Cunningham. Results and comments were very interesting imo.

I wish we had those old posts archived for this new forum .....oh, well...
