Mig 21 mid-air?

CNN is reporting a twin engine Cessna crashed while doing a photo shoot of a Mig-21 - the Mig pilot thought he had a problem with landing gear door. The Cessna with 5 aboard came in close to take a look at it. Mig pilot thought they may have hit each other, but no damage showed when the Mig landed. The Cessna crashed and burned, all aboard lost.

Man, that's pretty sad and tragic.

Unhappy Re: Mig 21 mid-air?

Very tragic. A light plane went down here today too, 2 on board, both lost. No a good day for general aviation.

Re: Mig 21 mid-air?

That really is a shame I've never seen a MiG-21 2 seater before are there very many of them?

That is a real shame.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
