Re: Swamp Ghost not safe yet

Hey there folks,
At what point does it fall into the realm of abandoned property? We could bury ourselves in details of law going both ways and still not come to a resolution.

I'm sure that the PNG goverment sees some potential value in the plane, and being a small and probably very poor nation, want to collect on that. It would be nice if we could convince our goverment of it's historic value, but good luck in making that argument.

Unfortunately, I doubt we will see Swamp Ghost come to life anytime soon. Let's hope that she at least finds a good hiding spot till someone is able to step up to the plate.

She has been recovered, but is in storage containers at the dock. The government is fighting the sale. They didn't get their cut.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Mustangdriver,
Yeah, that sounds about right. It's been in that same limbo for the last year or so.
