Re: Swamp Ghost not safe yet

It was on the Swamp Ghost web site that I found this out. It is actually in a building right now, as they are deciding what is going to happen with it.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Swamp Ghost not safe yet

That is awsome. I think in the long run, it will end up here. It is just a matter in how corrupt the PNG government wants to be.

Re: Swamp Ghost not safe yet

What a sham!! If PNG values these artifacts so highly why is a B-17 and P-38 just sitting around. I can only hope that Aero Archaelogy is behind the two missing containers and they haven't disappeared to the black market. Wouldn't take much to bribe some dock workers and the whole thing disappears.

Re: Swamp Ghost not safe yet

Since when did this bomber become the property of PNG? I think the US Navy ought to stop by and pick up those containers filled with US Government property.

Re: Swamp Ghost not safe yet

I did say earlier that there may well be trouble over this. Granted, the aircraft DID belong to the US but it is now on PNG land. I wish you guys luck with taking that back by force from the PNG people. They are small, but very fiesty people

Re: Swamp Ghost not safe yet

Tell them you are there for the B-17, they won't know where you are going.
