How are the Display stands holding up for this diecast?

Stands are very strong, simple yet attratctive, all metal and heavy. But the attachment is a little round peg at the top of the stand arm, which fits into a little hole, and unless it fits really tight I'm afraid it would not take much for the plane to fall off.

Looks like we'll all be using a bit of white glue on these.... Is designing a sturdy stand all that difficult? One wouldn't think so...

I think they simply elected to use the same stands they sell for their 1/400 civvies as a cost-saving measure and painted them green.

Re: Received new Gemini Aces!

Geez,
I might have to use a little itty bitty super glue.
They should of made that little peg a bit longer
so it won't fall off

Re: Received new Gemini Aces!

They look pretty good but the green on JJ's spit seems a bit light and bright, it could be the camera of course.

The variation in the P-51 olive drab color is unual, the only time that happens with Corgi is when they spray different surfaces such as metal and plastic parts.

I hope Gemini are reading this as they have to get the colour right on Stanislaw Skalski's P-51 Mustang III

Re: Received new Gemini Aces!

Each plane comes with an attractive credit card-style collector card and the collector number (xxxx of 2000).

Does this answer your question?
