Just got these two birds and all I can say is WOW! I love them! Granted these two are my first 1/72's so I have nothing else to compare them to, but I just think they are terrific! I'm impressed with Gemini's stuff. I will be buying more. Oh boy, I love the D-day stripes on the spit!

I'm seirously thinking of getting the Ferocious Frankie model now.

The Plagis Spit is my favorite 1:72 fighter -- none finer in my opinion, except maybe for Gem's later Spit releases that may have had further refinements. I don't have those, so I can't say.

Plagis Spitfire sure raised the bar for others to try to match for detail and quality.

Have three of the Gemini Bf 109Fs and think they look pretty good.

I have the the Beurling and Spirit of Kent Spits and they are fantastic birds and have the mirrors added, I also have the clipped wing Spit and the Polish P-51B (compliments of Pappy B) and am awaiting arrival of the Eastern front yellow 5 109. You can't go wrong with any of the Gemini birds they are great.

I agree! Whole bunch of paint schemes out there to choose from, and quite a few without the yellow nose. (Ok if lower portion nose yellow)
