Captured P-51B is answer to kaput

The GA captured P-51B is a beaut, and the collector's card and snap-lid box are winners, too. I think we can safely say GA is here to stay...

Neat looking addition you have there and they did upgrade their packaging. Still debating getting one of these.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Even though "captured" warbirds aren't my cup of tea, it's good to see that Gemini is still alive and kicking. I'm looking forward to the Flying Tigers special commission of "Yellow 14"--Marseille's BF-109--- also from Gemini, which I have on order.

Re: Captured P-51B is answer to kaput

This looks a superior piece of diecast, however I just don't seem to have much enthusiasm for "captured" birds.

Each to his own I suppose.

For those that like these birds then I think this one must be the best of the bunch so far.

I'm with you Jim this one looks like a fine model but the captured scheme doesn't appeal to me either.

I really want to know if this is the box being used with the UK exclusives. If so, it is more incentive for me to order one. Anyone know?

Just think of it as an olive in a martini...what's a martini without an olive?

That one's more like a cocktail onion... an acquired taste that most definitely does not appeal to everyone, but those who like them like them a lot.
Great pics, Celtic.
