| I'm betting that the picture of the GA model is overexposed (as far as I know, we have only one picture to work from). To see what overexposure can do to color, see the Fulcrum A pictures on The Flying Mule site. The colors come out medium blue in the first picture and light blue in the other pictures. I received the model yesterday and the actual color is DARK blue. Overexposure can not only change the intensity of a color, but its nature, especially on digital cameras where settings for color saturation can be manually adjusted. It will be interesting to see what the actual model looks like. |
Ditto, Gemini uses a odd light or flash on all their press shots which may cause the overexposure.
look at the coloring on the other GA models listed on their site, they are all off compared to the models in real life.
I think we tend to jump the gun judging based on these factory shots, I can tell ya 90% of the models out there look much different in person than they do in press shots.
As a example of how a models color can look completely different based on lighting & cameras, look at these two shots of Hun Hunter, one if from GA's site, the other from tricatus.
