Quality control issues with Gemini again.

I have the Plagis Spitfire and there is a small moan i just have to have with you all.The colours are right but the green on the wings is darker then the fuselage green, and glue marks under the canopy. This is a pity because it,s a good model.Has any one else had any problems like this?.

Re: Quality control issues with Gemini again.

Nope, I've been lucky I guess. So far every Gemini I've gotten is Spot On Perfect!!!! Hopefully this doesn't keep you from buying other GA?

Re: Quality control issues with Gemini again.

That is too nice a model to accept those flaws, as Shawn said, send it back.

Re: Quality control issues with Gemini again.

Sounds like the guy who assembled your model had one too many Tsingtaos the night before... send it back.

I'm looking at my Plagis Spit right now, and I don't see any defects. (Admittedly, I'm not the pickiest guy here.)

I wonder who would win that particular award - I sense that a poll may be in order

(Just kidding mods .)

Re: Quality control issues with Gemini again.

Gemini makes wonderful models, but some stuff occasionally slips by their QC. I have 15 GA models and have seen bent antenna, twisted main gear struts, and had to drill a missing mounting hole in the 'Kent" so the landing gear would attach. I didn't buy one of their Spits in a hobby shop because of a glue lump. Send it back.

Re: Quality control issues with Gemini again.

I have the Plagis before my very eyes as I type this post. Even with a 4X magnifying glass I can't spot an error. However, in your case I'd return to seller.
