P-51b Mustang “Snoots Sniper” – Lt. Francis W Horne 352nd FG / 328th FS ,Bodney, Norfolk 1944

This represents the P51B mount of Lt. Francis Horne, "Snoot's Sniper", 352FG, 328FS, during the summer of 1944. His machine's nickname was misspelled as it was suppose to be Snoot's Snipper. S/Sgt. Art Snyder was the crew chief and also doubled as the 328FS barber. Note the barber pole on the right hand side. This Mustang was long lived, accumulating over 300 hours of combat and was still at Bodney come VE Day. Lt. Horne was credited with 5.5 air to air victories and 1 on the ground.

I agree that an OLD CROW with malcom hood would have been great, but I'll get this one to go with P.E..

Probably will be a sweet model, but I wish they'd do some different schemes... I think this one is too close to PE to justify procuring one from overseas for me.

I agree! Though it will be nice for sure, the same $54 just bought me a GMP Mustang. I won't say never but..........

I think the Princess Elizabeth is a better scheme than that one.

Hopefully they'll release a few others soon so we can have some choices. GA seems somewhat slow on their P-51Bs.
