Kent Spitfire

Hi,
does anybody have ordered the Kent Spitfire? I have today got the confirmation that my pre-order will be shipped on 15.January. Also they include in the package a special polished chrome metal stand for display so you can choose with the normal stand. Cant wait to get this release and im counting the days. Hopefully it will be so good as the Flying Tigers "Princess Elizabeth". This release is limited to 805 pieces.

Re: Kent Spitfire

Not to rain on your parade as the model looks nice but the chrome stand is the same one Gemini has long sold for use with their 1:400 airline models. I have four or five of them sitting on my shelf. The Aces stands are just those chrome ones painted in olive drab.

It is still a nice addition to the plane as you can choose which stand you want to use for display. With this stand also included in the whole package as "special" it was still cheaper for me as the "princess elizabeth".
