Spit Mk IXc they just get better

Picked up the Buzz Beurling Spit at Modeller's Choice tonight. Gemini models just keep getting better and better. Even has full kill markings. Best Spit of the 16 I have to date.

Have to be in agreement with you there Smartd I have nine and all three versions of Buzz's spits and this is the best one so far, they even put the mirror on it!

Re: Spit Mk IXc they just get better

I only have two gemini Spits both Canadian ones Beurling and the clipped wing 443 sqn and they are very nice would like to get the Plagis spit as well as everyone here has said it is one of the best in 1:72.

Re: Spit Mk IXc they just get better

The Plagis Spit is a very nice, but still lacks the mirror of the "Screwball" Beurling version. Now they've sorted out the issue with the green paint, I think you'll struggle to find a better Spitfire model in 1/72nd.

IMHO the "Buzz" Beurling is the best rendition to date - just watch out for the radio mast - mine broke off way too easily, and no amount of Super glue will hold it in place properly

Re: Spit Mk IXc they just get better

Anyone have a pic of this they can post? Much appreciated!

So far, I think I'm in love with the new Spit IX with invasion stripes from Gemini Aces. The detail on this one can't be beat in my opinion.

Re: Spit Mk IXc they just get better

I have four Gemini Spits: the 443 Squadron (wrong green, but who can resist the clipped wing?), Plagis, Bureling and 'The Sprit of Kent." As to the best? It's a coin flip between Buerling and Kent.

Question Re: Spit Mk IXc they just get better

LeeG, did you buy the "Spirit of Kent' in the US? If so, where?
