Latest word on the Phantom II

Anyone know when we can expect these, or what liveries are in the works?

Re: Latest word on the Phantom II

Last i was heard it was 2008 sometime for the RAF Phantom.
This was a memo i got a few months ago from Gemini on it.
The Spey engined Phantom and Douglas Skyraider have been put back until February 2008 for tooling refinement. Samples are hopefully expected for review by the manufacturer soon and as new images become available..

Cool Re: Latest word on the Phantom II

I really want the F4E/F/G, with the E being highest up on the list. That said, the Spey engined birds looked good too. I'll be having one or two of those as well.

Do they neuter or spey skunks?

Anyway, give me a Cunningham/Driscoll Showtime 100 or Weigand/Freckleton Sundowners!

Re: Latest word on the Phantom II

I wonder why Gemini decided to go with the British Phantoms? I would think that the U.S. Phantom is the version that would offer more liveries and more well know planes that folks would clamour for? Or am I missing something and the Spey engined birds were used more exclusively? Also, are there external differences in the two birds? Thanks

Anything for a weird life.

Yes me too, but I'll still take the "speyed" Phantom!

I beleve the Aces range has a lot of input and influence from the UK.

I'm really looking forward to this one as these birds are the ones I grew up with. I'm sure there will be plenty of other companies doing more generic Spooks, and HM have promised an "E".

Ooops!

I think it has a lot to do with the little birdy in their ear.

"Showtime 100" is a must! There are so many Navy and Marine liveries that I'd buy, it's not even funny.

I would also require a Robin Olds and/or a Steve Ritchie model too.

Re: Latest word on the Phantom II

Surely Corgi have done enough F4's, the UK F4's had different engine inlets and rear fuselage if i remember correctly.
