More Pre-production Skyraider pictures

These were posted on another site I frequent- Airlinebuzz.com. Hadn't seen them here and thought everyone might enjoy seeing what Gemini is working on.

Re: More Pre-production Skyraider pictures

Very cool looking. I wonder what kind of paint schemes we will see. Thanks for posting them man,

Re: More Pre-production Skyraider pictures

Can't we get a simple Skyraider first? The big blister under the belly is going to sour me until the basic plane is made in USN / USAF markings. This and HM taking forever to make a USAAC AT-6 has me shaking my head.

I hear you. I think if you are making a new mold, that you should start with the most common version of that aircraft, and use it's most usual paint scheme.

Re: More Pre-production Skyraider pictures

Looks to me like the belly part is separate to allow them to issue different model of the Skyraider.

Re: More Pre-production Skyraider pictures

It does look very good, two position dive brakes and movable rudder too. I really hope the radome is just a snap fit affair though. I'd like a Navy or Marine
Vietnam marking first out of the gate. I don't think they would have hung that much ordnance off them with the radome and I can't find a picture anywhere
of a single seater with the dome on it, seems to me adding the radar made it a pretty busy office!
