Major Hans Hahn Bf 109F-2 photos

I have to admit that this was my first Gemini Aces diecast model. Packaging was decent, with the possible exception of the vacuform type packaging may be a bit on the over snug side (Sure makes it tricky extricating the model out minus breakage). Overall I would have to say model compares well with both Corgi and Dragon products (Would have added Hobby Master, but they do not have a Bf 109 and cannot make fare comparison). Couple of things stuck out fairly quickly though, antenna a little on large size to be scale, propellers are a bit on the odd side (Choke down portion extending fairly far out of spinner). and the absence of balance horns on the ailerons (Corgi Bf 109 had this bit of detail). Paint scheme is impressive and like that they had the trim tabs properly painted red. Markings are very good looking and also like that some of the miscellaneous stencils were present. One piece fixed landing gear very nice and would say compares well Dragon's setup. Not to overly keen on the movable rudder, but their setup slightly better than that on Dragon model. Gemini Aces does produce a nice looking Bf 109F, which is fortunate in that no one else is putting this type out. This model definitely looks sharp sitting up on the shelf.

Finally some pictures. Thanks for sharing us with them. Looks great the aircraft, hopefully the plane will arrive next week. The only "negative" thing is that the aerial mast is a little big too large.
Looking forward for some FW 190 or Me 262 versions from Gemini Aces.

I think you will be quite happy with the paint scheme, it looks very sharp to say the least.

You are right, yellow looks good, but definitely like a variety of different looking paint schemes.
