Re: Princess Elizabeth Commission!!!

Well Hun Hunter from Texas breaks the trend I thought was happening ( B.E. and F.F. being from the same outfit ). But hey I'll get HHfT, and I'm still keeping the fingers crossed for an OD full invasion striped Old Crow.

Re: Princess Elizabeth Commission!!!

Oh I know, I can't wait for them to start doing some of the 357th boys as well! I want so so so many of the B/C's from the 8th & 9th AAC! So many great paint schemes! I should have been more clear about the link above that I posted, if you click on that link it will take you to the Gemini site and then click on the warbird photo of Ferocious Frankie and then scroll through the three different planes and you will see Hun Hunter from Texas, Buzz Beurling's Spit but they haven't given a picture yet of Hans Hahn's 109.

The GA Buerling Spit will go nicely with the Corgi version that I have.

However, I really look forward to when GA will add some new molds of other types to their line-up. Hopefully that will happen soon.

Here are the pics from Gemini's website. As BB has said, the Hans Hahn one doesn't have pictures or a description up yet.

Personally I 'm a bit disappointed with the Beurling selection. Corgi's effort with his Mk.V Malta Spit is a much better subject IMHO. Methinks that if Gemini wanted to do another RCAF Spitfire they could have chosen any number of other aircraft with more colourful stories than this one.

Re: Next wave of Gemini Aces - Hun Hunter, George Buerling, Hans Hahn

I have a personalized 8 x 10 autographed wartime photo of Henry Brown that will go nicely with the new one GA is coming out with and the Corgi D model!!! Thanks Canuckle for moving my comments to a new thread, I guess it was late and I was lazy.

I like the Beurling paint. All my MkIXs have invasion stripes so this Gemini with the toned down green on gray and no stripes has a lot of appeal.

I'm definitely on for Hun Hunter from Texas and George Buerling Spit for sure.

Too bad they (Gemini) didn't take a crack at the Dick "Ace in a day" Audet or Jack Charles ones instead. Corgi has done them, but I hate their Mk.IX mould.

Heck, they don't even have any info regarding a Hahn 109. Where'd you get the news?
