Well, I'm just the opposite, I throw in a few tanks to go with my planes. Got quite a few Spits but am still looking to get the Plagis one. So good the wife might want it!? Wicked!

I just gone my Plagis and I have to say that this is probably the finest 1:72 diecast fighter, by any brand, I have ever seen. It is amazing. I even like it a bit more than the PE commission, which now make up my 1-2 favorite 1:72 WWII models.

Re: Got my plagis spit today

I finally decided to treat myself to two more Gemini Spitfires as I'm slightly partial (35) to Mr. Mitchell's masterpiece! The Plagis is a masterpiece IMHO. D-Day stripes, great paintwork, and the best value for money in 1/72 die cast features ( I have no Gemini connections). The Gabreski was the the other Spitfire arrival and I like the plain overall finish. I'm afraid the Dick Audet Corgi MkIX when placed beside it does not fare too well. If you're a Spitfire fan you won't go far wrong with the later Geminis. Roll on the forthcoming Mk Is.

Re: Got my plagis spit today

I was going to order it myself but ordered the Corgi 909 B-17, the Spit will just have to wait.

I love my 909 B-17, got it from my wife for my birthday this past Monday and LOVE IT! . As for that Spitfire, does anyone have any pictures of this?

Re: Got my plagis spit today

Mike if you go to www.geminijets.com they have all the pics. Also Lev on his UK 'Airborne Felines' has some nice snaps.
