| Re: Ferocious Frankie P-51b photos Finally took the plunge and bought this one and I am sorry I waited so long - looks great! After staring at it four hours, however, I noticed that there it a large gap at the rudder joint. Looking at a few pix on line, this seems to be an issue with some GA mustangs. Honestly, I'd rather have a one piece tail assembly (like Dragon) than a moveable rudder with a huge gap that makes the plane look less realistic. All in all, I think that moving flaps, ailerons, rudders on 1/72 fighters are not a good idea and tend to detract from the overall appearance with exposed hinges, gaps and droopy flaps. | |||||||||||||
