Plagis Spitfire photos

I'll let you all make the comments. I'm just too in love to be realistic right now. I'll try to post Frankie photos tomorrow.

Re: Plagis Spitfire photos

Mine arrived this morning - my first GA Spitfire. I'm very, very impressed but also very disappointed. I managed to break off one of the cannon while trying to get it out of the box :-(

Also received Ferocious Frankie, which has gone to the top of the list as my favourite GA (pending the arrival of Princess Elizabeth!).

Sorry to hear about the damage Spinnaker, hopefully you'll be able to fix it - don't feel alone as it happens to all of us .

Although I'm not that fond of GA warbirds I'll have to admit that the Spitfire looks pretty good - I'm just happy I no longer collect 1/72 WWII aircraft as space and budget wouldn't survive .

Its no surprise you have no space Cardo, Its all those 1/48 190Ds that are taking all the room.

Yeah, I've managed to superglue it back on. Although it looks OK, I'll always know that the model isn't mint, and I get a bit obsessive about that! Will probably end up buying another as a replacement in time!!!

Actually the 1/48s are just fine - it's all those 1/32 Corgis and 1/35 GMPs that are occupying 'airspace' .

Re: Plagis Spitfire photos

I may have to get this one to round out my rule of three each, of course I've broken that on more than one occassion. But three GA Spits can't hurt, I'll pass on the Dragon version to the boy.

Re: Plagis Spitfire photos

Those are beautiful photos, thanks. I have no idea if the colors on the plane are displayed correctly on my computer or not, but I love that livery and color.

Re: Plagis Spitfire photos

Very, very nice. I am with Card in trying to maintain my resolve to "try" and stick to 1:48 and above - at least with the single engine models. The Princess Elizabeth may be my last 1:72 for that reason but your pics are making me a bit wishy-washy.
